Wherewithal (One More Chance version) LYRICS I wish I had the wherewithal to attract your attention Wish I had the wherewithal to attract your attention You are so nonpareil You introduce a new elation in my life But you are so nonchalant I don't suppose this new sensation will materialise I wish I had the wherewithal to attract your attention Wish I had the wherewithal to attract your attention If I hadn't inhibitions enough to cope with Now you come along beautiful and leave me hoping If it wasn't complicated enough to start with Now you're making this feeling so hard to part with INSTRUMENTAL You are so nonpareil You introduce a new elation in my life But you are so nonchalant I don't suppose this new sensation will materialise I wish I had the wherewithal to attract your attention Wish I had the wherewithal to attract your attention Wish I had the wherewithal to attract your attention I wish I had the wherewithal to attract your attention Wish I had the wherewithal to attract your attention

You are consistent I am lackaday You are sufficient I'm in disarray You give me pleasure I bring you heartache You give me light when all is dark and lonely You're my concession I am contrary You are exception I am more the rule You are discretion I am more the fool You show me patience I take advantage And leave you lost and on your own and lonely You are forever I'll come crashing down Instrumental You throw me line when I'm clutching straws And you lift me up when I am down and lonely You're my concession I am contrary You are consistent I am lackaday You are sufficient I'm in disarray You give me pleasure I bring you heartache You give me light when all is dark and lonely You're my concession I am contrary You're my concession I am contrary You're my concession I am contrary You're my concession I am contrary

Before The World Was Round (Alternate take) LYRICS I remember when you said the world must be flat Because you'd fallen off the edge There you were just floating Holding on to my hand So safe and self-assured And it's not easy watching you walk out on me And simple dreams from way back when The view was so much better then Before the world was round And I remember when you said there must be a God Because he answered you And so I found you floating reaching out for my love And how I sheltered you And it's not easy watching you just walk away From hopes that seem more tangible And dreams were far more plentiful Before the world was round You have learnt your independence All too soon your science grew And you've turned your fine attendance On to someone new INSTRUMENTAL And it's not easy watching you walk out on me And simple dreams from way back when The view was so much better then Before the world was round INSTRUMENTAL
